EPISD: a note

Glad you found me here...I just wanted to make sure I said this before I completely forget all that we worked on and talked about: I was very impressed by the way you worked together, by your knowledge of AP and vertical teams. You are well on your way. Remember that vertical teams begin when a couple of you stop during passing time to have a quick conversation. If you're talking about how you can work together to improve things for your kids, then you are having a vertical team meeting.

What's the song? "Whenever two or more of you are gathered" in the name of improving things for your students...or something like that...there is a vertical team. Start small. Be patient with yourself...and your team members. Remember that it takes 3-5 years for a vertical team to really reach its full potential.
