Take the Grubb Challenge!

Easy Brain Teasy
I have a mouth but do not speak.
I have four eyes but do not see.
I have a bed but do not sleep.

Can you tell me who I be?

The Mississippi River
(I didn't like writing that incorrectly in the riddle:
"I have four eyes"...instead of "I have four I's.")

Trick Question
What kind of a book can the author never finish?

an autobiography

Science
A woman has come upon a pot with a mixture of sand, salt, sawdust, and iron filings in it.

How does she separate the individual substances in this mixture?

She can use a magnet to remove the iron. Then if she adds water to the remaining mixture, all of the sawdust will float to the top where she can scoop it off with a strainer of some sort. The salt will dissolve in the water, but the sand will not. If she pours the water and filters out the sand, she will be left with salt water which she can boil away to leave the salt behind.
