MONDAY, 20 August
Students received agendas today.
Students signed for their agendas, and we put our names in them and on them in four different places. You MUST have your agenda to use a pass from my class. You should carry it with you every hour of every class day.

Students received vocab lesson one (due 8/27) and had class time to work on it.

Also, we spent about 15-20 minutes in the computer lab to tour this website.

ABSENT? Get your agenda from me and sign for it. Pick up or print a copy of vocab lesson one and be ready to turn it in on Monday, 27 August. Take a few minutes to search this website and find The Parents' Page, information about me, brain teasers, the page with PDFs of handouts, information about extra credit, supplies, and What I Did on my Summer Vacation.

TUESDAY, 21 August
Students had the hour to work on What's in a Name?

FIRST HOUR received the What's in a Name? assignment for the first time and had the hour to work on the assignment. This handout is for first hour only.

ABSENT? Work on your What's in a Name? assignment. Make sure you use the correct handout. First hour has a slightly different assignment than the other classes have.

THIRD/FOURTH HOURS read a story called "The Sea Devil."

ABSENT? FIRST HOUR needs to continue working on What's in a Name? which is due Friday for you. THIRD/FOURTH HOURS need to get a copy of the story from me and READ IT.
