Leadership/Get-to-Know-Me Exercise
Index Card Info

We had a general discussion about the class, and I gave students a Supplies List.

ABSENT? You can't really make up the leadership exercise. We seated ourselves by age in order to see who are the leaders in the room. Later, each student wrote his/her address on an index card and some other information on a piece of paper.

FRIDAY, August 17
Students turned in their summer reading assignments. Then we took a multiple-choice did-you-read-it? test over The Scarlet Letter.

Students also received the course syllabus and had some time to ask questions about it.

ABSENT? Pick up or print the Course Syllabus and READ it. Arrange a time when you can come in before or after school to make up the SL test.
