TUESDAY, October 24
Four small, teacher-assigned groups discussed "The Myth of the Latin Woman.," from the Prentice Hall Reader. Then we used the information from our discussion to creat ea claim for a paragraph we'll write. Students will write this paragraph as part of next week's test.

WEDNESDAY, October 25
We saw a teaswer performance of "Roman Candle," and we voted for yearbook's "Bests and Most Likelies" and a theme for formal.

THURSDAY, October 26
Teacher-assigned groups worked together to read "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God," answering guiding questions along the way.

FRIDAY, October 27
Regularly scheduled SSR has been moved to next Tuesday, so we can start our review. Teacher-assigned groups worked on questions to cover The Declaration of Independence and Patrick Henry's "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death" speech. They also started to review for next week's test, preparing their notes based review questions.
